Avan Ivan gets a U/A certificate

After Naan Kadavul, Bala is directing the film titled Avan Ivan. Arya, Vishal, Madhu Shalini and Janani Iyer have starred in this film. Bala has the style of making his films in a different mode. But it seems that he has made this film in his usual style giving importance to commercial ingredients.

Moreover he has completed this film in a short span of time. Arya and Vishal have donned different type of roles. Especially Vishal has donned the role of a transgender.

This film was sent to Censor Board for certification. The members who saw this film had asked Bala to delete some scenes so that they can grant a U certificate. But Bala said that these scenes were important and if it is deleted the film will lose its significance. Because of this, the film was awarded an U/A certificate.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music. Kalpathi S Agoram has produced this film which is to hit the screens on 20th May.
